Description

Nowadays, people know that the temperatures in their courtyards are cooler in summer than the temperatures outdoors, and vice versa in winter. According to Navier-Stokes equations with variable density depending on the temperature (Boussinesq model), it is possible to simulate the physical phenomenas, like thermodynamic behaviour, involved in the process of regulation of the temperature. Therefore, one of the goals of this lecture is to develop the well-known one-dimensional model that approximates the temperature of a courtyard. However, there are some problems to set out the model like, for instance, choosing  the boundary condition or the solar radiation influence between walls. Finally, we focus on the above mentioned issues with the generalized three-dimensional Boussinesq model.
